Mellissa's reception in Kanab

Last night was a reception for Mellissa and Chuck. It was held outdoors, and was so beautiful. The cake was so pretty (my picture didn't do it justice, but maybe you can see it clearer if you click on it), and you could tell a lot of hard work went into it. I'm so proud of the Jim Bowman family. All of them worked hard to make sure it turned out just right.

Navajo Bridge

This is the bridge that was only a few miles from our house in Navajo Springs. It is still amazing. Sadly the homes in Navajo Springs have fallen into disrepair, and are being renovated for the Navajo's. The state of Arizona no longer have the lease on that land.

Glen Canyon Dam

I took Wayne to see the dam, it is harder to do through it (only guided tours now) and we didn't have time for that, but it is still fabulous and amazing how big it is, and all the water it holds back. Wayne was impressed by it!

Visiting Sue's grave

I haven't been here for the longest time. I sat and thought about how long it has been, and yet how much I still think about Sue, and how much I miss her. She would be so proud of her children and all that they are, and oh how she would have loved spoiling her grandchildren!

A side view

I know you guessed it, but it but it is disappointing to see something like this happen to a house you love.

What house is this?

This house used to look so different. I was glad to see a couple of living trees. Okay, so who knows the house?

Bridal Portraits

I wanted to post some pictures from the Temple, but the memory card did not fall into my hands...excuse me, hand. ~ha, ha~ I think Mellissa & Charles have it with them on the honeymoon in California. Maybe Cyndee or Loyce will post some when they get a minute. It was a beautiful day, and Mellissa was as happy as a bride can be when marrying her sweetheart. Wish you all could have been there!

Congrats Mellissa and Charles. I hope that pictures are posted soon. We wish you an eternity of happiness.

Bowman's N' Bear Lake

We spent three nights camping near Bear Lake, Idaho. We had a great time on the Lake and around the camp fire. Too much food, no flushies, plenty of mesquitos, lots of sun, a tour of Minnetonka Caves, boat rides, fish but not on our hooks, memories to last a life time! HAPPY CAMPERS --- wornout from working too hard to play so fun! BEAR LAKE 2009 or BUST!
