In Memory of Ryan Cox

I thought I would post this picture of Ryan and Katie that I took on December 2, 2007, the day Ryan gave his third beautiful baby daughter Zaya a name and a blessing. He also bore testimony of his love for his wife and children and for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that our thoughts, sincere prayers and sympathy go out to Katie and her children. Life is certainly unpredictable. Perhaps you feel as I do; sorrow to the bone for the loss of this young husband and father.

Pink, Pink, Pink!

Jamie finally got her pink cast. Her broken bones are still in the right place and starting to heal; that is our good news. She will be happy when it is off and she can take a long bath instead of the fastest baths ever, return to dance and tumbling and jump on the trampoline!

Everett is here!!!

He finally made his debut about 10:17. He weighed in at 8lbs 14 oz. All I can say is way to go Beki (and Adam). Adam told me that Everett looks just like his big brother Cael. I can hardly wait for pictures. I love the Turners. Congrats!

Cast....your eyes on Jamie's new.........?

CAST! Jamie is sad to tell that she is sporting a large heavy white cast on her left arm. She was playing at a friends house on their trampoline. As she was getting off one of the little boys pushed her and she came off hard landing on her left arm. Both bones where broken as you can see in the x-ray picture. We are pleased to report that the bones went back in place nicely. She has had to miss school because she has to keep the arm elevated for five days to reduce swelling. She is anxious to have a real pink cast hopefully in ten days or so!

Beki's in Labor

She was admitted at 12:45 this morning. I just talked to her at 6, and she told me that her Doctor would be in at 7 to check her and probably break her water. Yay, Everett is almost here. I'll keep you updated :)

Happy Birthday Wayne!

Wow! 47 years old today! This man said at one time that he'd rather watch the grass grow than go fishing. Now he loves fishing. He also really enjoys the company of those he fishes with, thanks Bill and Tom. Have a great birthday!

Some new things goin on..........

Today was mismatch day at school. The kids showed their spirit by wearing two different shoes, doing funky things with their hair, and wearing plaid with stripes, and a tie with sweats and thermals. It was a fun morning for me :) I just wish they had a full day at school, instead they get out at 11:15 today. My day is shot :(
Ryanne is finished with Basketball. Here is a picture of her with her Coach at the awards party. He told Ryanne that she needs to stick with it, she could go far someday :)
I got my hair cut finally. My fabulous brother in law Thomas cut/colored it for me yesterday :) I love it.
