CAST! Jamie is sad to tell that she is sporting a large heavy white cast on her left arm. She was playing at a friends house on their trampoline. As she was getting off one of the little boys pushed her and she came off hard landing on her left arm. Both bones where broken as you can see in the x-ray picture. We are pleased to report that the bones went back in place nicely. She has had to miss school because she has to keep the arm elevated for five days to reduce swelling. She is anxious to have a real pink cast hopefully in ten days or so!

Wow Jamie, you are such a tough cookie. Pink will make a pretty cast. Post a new pic when you get it. Tell your Mom that ice cream and all your favorite snacks make the swelling go down too. Love you, glad you're okay :) Leisa

Jamie, you go girl! Only really toughe people can handle a break like that! I'll bet you were so brave. I think you are younger than I was when I broke my arm. (left) But colors are great! make them put on a really jazzy color, mix up several so you are extra cool! IT was a great x-ray!! although I did not need the x-ray... that is one you can diagnose just looking at the arm :(.. Love, Aunt Cyndee
Boy, Those Bowman Girls!!! Mellissa and Sarah Both broke thier arms! It must be something in the genes! You are a Tough Girl Jamie!
