Yes, It's official....

I'm a blogger. Can you believe it? I've never done this before so please excuse my blogging skills. They are certainly lacking.
Just to inform you all about life in Logan...Last week it warmed up to a whopping 40 something degrees here..only for about a day. We're about back to -10. My apartment acquired some new tenants because of the warm weather. Ants. We can't seem to get rid of them. I woke up last night in a sweat, and started hitting the walls and itching my body...weird? I know. I was having a nightmare that ants were crawling all over my walls, my bed, and my body. I couldn't sleep after that. We vacuum them up every day. We should probably invest in some bug killer. Any suggestions?
Next on the list, last night my roommates Jamie, Jessie and I had a dance party for over an hour...all by ourselves. After that Jamie and I put on our snowboarding boots, and took our boards on campus to what we call Old Main Hill (it's pretty steep) and snowboarded down the ice hill wearing shorts and a jacket at 10:30 P.M. It was a freezing cold blast..but I think I hurt my already damaged tail-bone. I ran into an ice jump and turfed it pretty hard. Landing on ice in shorts doesn't feel so good. Doesn't that make you miss college?
Well, life is good. We're on our 4th snowstorm of the week and I'm going snowboarding tomorrow! Fresh powder..yay!

The Next Chapter...

Well I have some new and exciting news, exciting to me anyways. I am officially a business owner. I haven't made any money yet but officially today I have a business license from the city of Ventura recognizing me as the sole proprietor of B&D Auto Detailing. I'm really excited about this, I enjoy cleaning cars and I really want to do something that I enjoy. Wish me the best and I love you and miss you all.

Of course it was still when we lived in Page. Anyone been by our old house in Page lately? I've heard it's pretty run down, trees dead and no grass. Oh well, life goes on. Sometimes we just don't think things like that will change. This one is of Mom and Dad with the Gardners on their mission to New Zealand.

Turner Family Update

Here is what is going on in our life right now.

Adam is working hard at Lane Stanton Vance lumber. Work is kind of slow right now, so he is thinking about going to school to get a degree in IT. We were hoping to get him started in school for this semester, but we aren't sure what classes he needs to take yet. He is hoping to talk to a counselor about what classes he needs to take.
He hates getting his picture taken, but I forced him to take this picture for me. I know that it has been awhile since most of you have seen him.



Cael is 2 and a half now. He is a big boy. He only in the 25th percentile in height, but he is tall enough to ride on roller coasters. He rode the Matterhorn at Disneyland last month. He is such a little dare devil. He weights 35 pounds which puts him in the 97th percentile for his age. He isn't fat at all, but he is solid. Lift with your legs when picking him up.
He is getting really excited to become a big brother. I don't know if he understands it yet, but he is going to hate sharing me with his little brother.



I am 30 weeks pregnant with our second little boy. We are still undecided on a name, sorry. I am getting so big, but luckily I have only gained 9 pounds so far. Keep you fingers crossed that I won't gain too much more. My doctor just changed my due date to March 28, it was originally April 6. I guess that me and my little boy are bigger than we should be. What can I say? I make big babies. I am hoping for another good delivery. I don't want a c-section like my sisters.

The Cooks & The McMurrians

This was last summer when I went to Mom's. Hydee flew to Seattle so I wouldn't have to drive all alone :) I stayed with her for a couple of days and got to see Aunt Cyndee and Uncle Bill. Just in case some of you might not know, the little boy is Chase, Hydee's son. He is a cute, artistic, singing son of a gun. His thing is
ROBOTS!!!


I'm so glad that Hydee and I got close again, she is one of my favorite people :)

Whats going on in Leisa's Life????

I know, it's not the best picture (it's from my cell phone) but I smile every time I see it :) So, life has been a little crazy lately, good for all of us, but crazy.

We joined the YMCA in December. If you have never looked into it, you should it is a great oppurtunity for you and your family to be more active. We work out (yay) while the kids either have activities, or they play in the Rec Room/Youth Gym while we do so. It's so nice not worrying about what the kids are up to while I'm exercising.

Devin is in Polliwogs (swimming lessons) on Mondays and Wednesdays and Gymnastics on Saturdays. Of course, being Washington, the pools are indoor and heated. He absolutely loves it.

Ryanne was already signed up for Basketball through the Rec so I couldn't sign her up for any of the activities at the Y due to the fact that I didn't know her schedule, but she absolutely loves being in the Rec Room or Youth Gym.

It's Ry's first year playing basketball recreationally. She is a little discouraged, but doing well. She gets called a lot for double dribbling, or fouls, and it upsets her. So, I asked the coach what I could do to help her out at home with. He gave me a few pointers, and said, "Don't let her quit, she is a natural athlete, and although she is new, she has great potential." Isn't that neat, I was so greatful that he said that. I've known it all along, that girl can do anything, but someone other than her Mom said it. Yay.

I'm going to see Dad this weekend, and watch the game GO PACKERS!!!! He is sadly still in the Portland area, and not quite sure of when he'll get to go home, and could possibly lose his vacation to Las Vegas and Colorado. Keep he and Holly in your prayers. Could you imagine losing your vacation because you agreed to work out of state, and they're not willing to send you home yet? Anyways, hopefully this will be his last weekend in Oregon so we're going to see him. Hello, I never get to just go see my family cause I want to, so I have to take advantage of it while I can. I wish that Holly was going to be there again, but I understand why she can't. I love you all so very much. Keep blogging, I love to read about whats going on in your life, even if you think it's boring.

I had the greatest time with everybody. My favorite was sledding. All the greatness you bring into this family is so great. Im so happy that I got to see everyone. But I hope that I get to see all of in the summer because I am coming to Nana's in June.
